RUN:  1770

And so it came to pass that about 14 hashers give or take approximately, met at the house approximately half way up the hill in East Devonport.  At the appointed time approximately, the Trail Master, with some urging from other hashers, called On On.

The trail went approximately around and about the wonderful surrounds of East Devonport, mainly keeping to the undulating parts, so the Hashers missed the sublime views from the top of the steep bits. On around the waterfront and through the carpark of the Yatch Club (for the runners that was, and dislectics) and back to Eagles abode. Don't know where the wankers went.  But I do know that Dint went missing for most of the run - we suspect that he went looking for some East Devonport Football Club players to sign up for Geelong!

Before the Lip had commenced, TT thanked Lantern for such a wonderful run - well, she is blonde.

Dint did the Lip because it was his turn. Downs were awarded to -

. Bald Eagle (that's Eagles real name) for such a wonderful trail,

. Lantern - 645 runs,

. Soff - 790 runs,

. Loosers of the week - Maggie May and Bastard,

. Crow - for being there and drinking soffties,

. Not odd sox show and tell - GV and Tracka,  jeez just about our most experienced hashers and they got it wrong,

. And various other downs which I could not understand. One which I did understand included for language phrased inappropriately. The silent majority are rising and taking offence at language used in the past and now!. Take note Dint!

The Hub is still missing and so is Bonor - wonder where it and he is?  Talk to us!  We miss you.

The raffles were won and won and Cheeze won a prize, finally.  He really showed some exurberance. Prizes were sourced this time from Shitloads and there were plenty of them. Crow won won too - a multi tool.  Perhaps he may be able to use it to keep his new oink oink replacement part (that's part of his heart you dickheads) in full working order and we are sure that 1080 will be pleased about that.  It may be useful for the Harley as well.

There still has been no updates of the whereabouts of GA and Fanny May?  Talk to us! We miss you as well.

Next weeks run will be in the heart of the seagull territory at 40 Esplanade, Turners Beach, right opposite the OC Ling Caravan Park, and in case you miss that, there will be a Swans flag flying out front - not that you can see it in the dark. Wonder if I can find some virgin hashing territory after recent runs by Maggie and Eweturn. Landing has a special menu in place.

While TT and Tracka have been mentioned in this missive,   the next day I drove the Cancer car to L'ton and back. Called into the Latrobe Hospital Emergency to drop of a passenger and lo and behold, there was TT  inside the entrance,  walking with a paper folder all of the unknown kms she talked about during the Lip. But wait, there is more, On calling in at home for a wee break and a snack, there was Tracka doing things to my computor.  How about that!

RUN:  1769

And so it came to pass that about 14 or so Hashers met outside the Turners Beach Berry Patch in complete darkness (the shop was shut) and milled around and around because they were early - and so were the Cradle Coast Cruisers - all the way from the other side of the railway line. Crow was there in spirit!

The combined trail headed East towards the Forth River (that's the one after the Third) until a mastercheque (no - Captain Crab was not there)  where the runners headed South into the bush and the wankers crossed the railway line in a Northerly direction - no trains were seen coming in their direction,  inspecting a new residential development (not Maggie's) and found themselves on Susan St heading West, then South, then East past the front door of Maggie's house and through the bush back to the cars.

While all this was happening, the runners, after escaping from the bush, crossed the Forth River (just before before the Fifth) on a bridge - did you know there are 4 bridges right at that point, and headed up to Braddons Lookout to take in the view. They told anyone who listened that the view was special!

Each group arrived back about the same time, well, GV set the run and what would you expect!  Hashers then made their way to the Eweturn Sheep Station's staff quarters where the wood fired fire box had been lit earlier in the day so it was a comfy place.

When all had replaced the lost fluids (read sweat) of the run, Bastard did the Lip because Dint was not there, and neither was Koff.

Downs were celebrated -

. Eweturn for the bestest spread,
. GV for setting the run,
. Overdose for 11,
. Ratchet for 171,
. Soff for 789,
. Eweturn for 30,
. Bald Eagle because he was sitting in a corner by himself,
. Lantern for wearing a St Kilda tee-shirt still looking new from the 60's,
. Lantern for wearing apparently new shoes - he had put them into his washing machine and Tracka had to down.

I was all set to give Dint a down but he was not there. I was listening to him on 7AD on the radio at 10.25am on last Saturday when I spotted Dint coming out of Hungry Jacks with food. How can it be that he can be in two places at once? And for the food - Koff was in Hobart.

The raffle was won and won  by everyone except Cheez - and he let it be know that it was now 4 weeks since he won won.

Bonor is still missing and so is the Hub, and for that matter, so is Fanny May. But the word is that all will be back soon. No word to us of how GA in travelling.

Bastard also spoke about serious issues such as this years "Tour de Piss", do we want to conduct it?  In previous years it has not been well supported by DH3 but other Hash groups like to come along. Have a think about it!

And Bastard continued with suggestions of weekends away ie Tullah, Waratah, Corinna, Queenstown or anywhere else. Another think!.

Our missing hasher Crow is recovering well at home.  So much so that visitors have commented that he is looking really well, one even commented that it was the best that he had looked for years. Welcome back out of the danger zone Crow!

Next weeks run will be at Bald Eagles, 25 Torquay Road, East Devonport, parking and entry in the side street on the left before.

Cuming runs are -

25 May - Soff and Landings at 40 Esplanade, Turners Beach,
 1  June - Tracka TBA.

And we need more! What can you do!!!!!

A very comfortable and enjoyable evening with Eweturn and her lapdog at the Station.  There may be another run before she relocates to smaller premises so that her kids can't come back.

And one day, GA or Fannie May will put these run reports on the Blog - we wait in anticipation so that other Hashers in other Hash groups can read all about how DH3 is such a wonderful Hash!

RUN:  1768

Once in a while the planets line up and Dport Hash and LunaR Hash cum together. And so 20 or so hashers, including a sprinkling of Burnie hashers,  met at the Elimatta Hotel to howl at the moon. At the non-appointed time of 6.30, the hashers got impatient and found trail, without waiting for the Central Coast Cruisers, who included the Trail Master but not Crow.

The trail went up river past the new Harbourmasters coffee place, a check was on the ferry wharf, runners one way and the wankers the other way, around and about the CBD and up and down the stairs past Lantern's 2nd home (did I see Tim Berwicks name in the Advocate as winning a major raffle at the RSL) and back to the Eli in time to place orders for meals and drinks.

Due to considerations of other diners at the Eli, the normal Lip did not take place - only the abnormal down for GV for 1300 runs.  Done good.

The meals were great, the drinks were cold, and everyone went home by 8.45 - piss poor.

The Cradle Coast Cruises held a speaker phone conversation with Crow on the way to Hash and he told us that he should be home by Tuesday afternoon - the way the weather was we wondered whether he made it - he and 1080 did!  He also tells us that he has to make some serious, I mean serious life changing decisions.

Next weeks run is at The Berry Patch, Blackburn Drive, Turners Beach set by Eweturn.  On On is at Eweturns sheep station at 210 Westella Drive, Turners Beach, the last house on the left on the Ulverstone side of Poyntons Nursery (or ewesed to be).

RUN:  1767

And so it came to pass that 18 or so intrepid hashers journeyed nearly to the otherside of the planet to Ratchet and Knickers place at Isandula Heights. Pity it was dark so we could not see the spectacular view from the Heights. Really really spectacular I am told.

At the appointed time + 5 minutes to allow for those that may have had some difficulty in finding the run (the address in the last run report was wrong - just), the pack and Ali the dog set off seeking to find Robin Hood and his band of merry men in the forests surounding Isandula Heights.

It was not a pity that it was dark on this run because the pack could not see how steep - that is up and down and up and down, the trail was.  And because it was dark - the walking wankers missed their trail and followed the runners trail until they decided enough was enough and headed home.

And back at the ranch, Knickers and Ratshit (sorry I mean Ratchet) plied the hashers with Soup/Snags/hamburgers/salads/potato bake and finished off with Apple Crumble.  All this held in the back passage - that is, the garage.

As Bastard (and Pioneer) were safely back from Vietnam, he called the Lip. Downs were awarded to -
. Ratchet for setting a totally confusing run,
. Bedpan - 49 runs just for practice,
. Dint - 990,
. Overdose - 10,
. Pioneer -- 400,
. Ratchet - 169 for practice,
. Soff - 787,
. Thrust - 303,
. D.T. - 33,

A new hasher came along with Bedpan (she had a wonderful accent). Her name was Nerida and was promptly named "Tea Bag". While this naming was being held, Bedpan was heard to say  "that she had never had so much meat since she had a boyfriend".

Downs were also given to Cheeze, Dint and Soff for supporting loosing AFL teams.

The Hub is still missing and so is Bonor so it was re-awarded to him.  The raffle was run and won by everyone except Cheeze.

Next week's run is a combination run with LoonR hash meeting at the carpark opposite the Elimatta Hotel in Devonport. No Hash Cash to be paid but buy your own meal and drinks at the Ali after the howling run.

For those that left early from Isandula Heights - you missed out on the bad and the good.  It was bad that Ratchet had no port - but it was good that he had plenty of Bailey's Irish Cream. A special night in the country.

RUN:  1766

It's been a while since we have had a co-operative Run. In this case, Maggie May co-opted Soff and Landing to host a run while he did the hard yards in setting it. It appears he has run out of room in his garage because of all of his new toys.

And so it came to pass that Maggie appeared at the driveway of the house nearly on the beach at Turners Beach and left a lot of white stuff on the ground and at several places nearby.  Gossip has it that trail headed East to the mouth of the Forth River, and then West along the beach  (good thing Koff was missing as she apparently has difficulty in going in any direction).

Heard tell that Foghorn took off his sox and shoes to cross Claytons Rivulet on the beach - and by the time he did that, the pack had disappeared. So he came back to the house nearly on the beach - bloody sook!  Apparently, trail went over the Bass Highway to a cunningly hidden HHH.

As Landing was in the midst of preparing a sumptuous feast, the Lippery was done first by Dint (and Bastard was still in Vietnam).

Some notable downs were -

.  1243 Tracka (Internation Dislectic Day)
.  393 Maggie    as above
. 786  Soff          as above
. 1299  Guards Van for practice
.  540  Flasher
.  989  Dint
. 151   Captain Crab
. 153  Foghorn  because he won't be here for some months

And then it was time to feed the 21 hashers with Soup, and then there was rissoles/snags/salads/potatoe bake/and lamingtons.

The Hub turned up with Bonor who did not run and for no reason at all, I can't remember who it was awarded to.

Next Weeks run is going to be at Ratchets and Knickers house in the country, at 1015 Isandula Road, Upper Gawler. When you reach the end of the bitumen, turn right,  down the driveway and you are there.

A great night, the fireboxes kept everyone warm and I guess the port did as well.

Our thoughts are with Crow in Melbourne undergoing surgery for his bleeding heart - not figuratively but it could have been.
