Bad Bull

The Bad Bull tonight was Flasher for raffling his shirt off due to lack of quality prizes, or perhaps lack of sponsors. His runaround the burb, looking for contours to compete with Bastard's run did not rate high for the skimpy pack that kept on complaining about everything. Only three true believers perservered to complete the cunning trail. UFO cooked up a BBQ storm and we tried hardto make the new Bluff BBQ site unsavoury with our company. We scared off noone and even gave cake offerings to curious Asian tourists.

Runkeeper was kept by Dini today, the Hub went to Flasher, and his new shirt went to Crow.

Next week's r#n (2 April 630pm) from Plunger's place on Stoney Hill Road. Remember to bring torches and be on time or you'll miss the bus up the hill.

Ewes Know Who Ewes Are

Those attending last week's Devonport Hash set by the Bast*rd, somewhere in the dastardly Dial Ranges, will probably know already where this week's r*n commences. Your poxy Blog-Mistress has had to resort to other more devious means... such as email...

There will be no leeches, no blackberries (electronic variety excepted) and no hills, at least nothing which warrants a significant contour line on the map. This week's Hare Flasher is setting from his old wa*king mate Les-Bean's house in McCabe Avenue, Devonport. Bring the usual crap, and don't forget your raffle money.
Monday, March 26th, 6.30 pm.. Last r*n before the end of daylight savings. On-on at The Bluff!

St Patricks Starter

Thanks to our geography Australia is one of the first places on our earth to celebrate St Patricks Day. But, alas, 10 hours earlier than Ireland was not enough. Devonport Hash decided to celebrate St Patricks day 5 days ahead of the rest of the world.

Due to poor advertising of the event not all punters showed up in green, but a green St Paddies balloon fixed that. Why would any self respecting Hasher run through town carrying a green balloon and surrounded by Leprechauns? Well, the promise of a Guinness at Mollies did the trick.

As the walkers bee-lined to the pub the runners wound their way through town and still beat us for a drink. Staff at Mollies duly accepted our StPaddies offering in the shape of a balloon and gave each of us a half pint of Guinness in return.

Back at the OnOn the Queen of Leprechauns, Fanny O'Mae, had heated up the pies that were donated by the Wagyu Pie Company & Bakehouse in Devonport. Also out of the MKR wannabee chief appeared moist turkey and gravy and chicken kebabs, green frog in jelly desert and port.

Next Run on Monday 19 March, 630pm set by Bastard from Ferndene Reserve (off Ironcliffe Road) (not the Gnomen car park)!

Rotate on This, Paddy

It was a night of reciprocals at Turners Beach - straight lines where there should have been circles. The r*n was long and straight with no hashing opportunities, and the story goes that the firepot went around in circles. Maggie has himself a cottage industry in the making, with his fabulous new planetary device which makes every man the centre of his own universe. Perhaps that's not such a new concept...
Next week's r*n is Green and Shamrocky with black and tan bits around the edge and will be set the Queen of the Leprechauns, Fanny O'Mae from her house at 10 James Street Devonport.
