Taste the Harvest Dinner this friday night!

Next Sunday is  Taste The Harvest at the Mersey Foreshore! More importantly, the Taste the Harvest Celebration Dinner is on next Friday night at Reece High School!! The dinner is a food and wine extravaganza with an agricultural and local produce theme, but again more importantly, the entertainment and drinks are all included in the price.

Catering for a wide variety of tastes, past offerings have included potato and vegetable dishes, venison, seafood, beef and lamb. Fresh berries and desserts are a popular repast and wonderful Tasmanian wine, beer, cheeses and quality coffee can accompany all the gourmet foods.

This year it is held at Reece High School, and 170 tickets have already been sold. No walk-ins allowed, you need to buy a ticket!  Tickets have been reserved for the HAsh House Harrier and are still available from the LJ Hooker office in Devonport (Opposite Coles), just ask to be seated at the Hash House Harrier table! Alternatively contact GoneAgain to secure your seat.

The inside scoop: There are 480 bottles of wine and 20 cartons of beer. And the $100 tickets do not represent the cost of the event, you actually get much more value then $100 as you will know if you were at last year's dinner. The reason for the excellent value is that much of the food is provided by Tasmanian producers and the event is costed so as to cover cost, not make profits! BUY TICKETS ASAP to avoid disappointment!
