HHH Adopts a Highway

That's right, time for us to repent! We have adopted a Highway it appears. This means that once or twice a year, under strict adult supervision provided by Conservation Volunteers Australia, and the provided equipment and safety gear, we shall be out on our very own piece of highway cleaning up litter and looking for treasures. Our piece of road is from the Caltex Service Station (near York Stret) East of Latrobe, all the way to the Hospital Roundabout. The first cleanup will be 10am Saturday 13 February followed by a BBQ at 1230pm perhaps. Meeting place TBA but most likely at the Petrol Station! More info soon, just make sure you are there to be there for this inaugural event.

Don't forget this weekend is the big High Noon for Full Moons, starting at noon on Saturday 30 January in Campbelltown. Next monday's DHash run starts from the Ulverstone Rowing Club, and the On On will be at Cheese's Mum's house, 12 Harley Court, off Clara Street Ulverstone.

Australia Day Run

Looks like Australia Day attracted the bicycles. Cameltoe, Captain Crab, GoneAgain, Knockers,... Cameltoe and Thrust set a run, Maggie arranged the salad and schnitzels and HandJob procured the lamingtons... Good run all up, at least a 2/10. One new runner came up with Lantern, we quicklly named him Knackers for the agility he showed in scaling the 12-strand barbed wire fence...

We ran 5.5kms in 55 minutes...

Next run is set by Cheese from the Ulverstone Rowing Club, and the On On will be at Cheese's Mum's house, 12 Harley Court, off Clara Street Ulverstone.

Incorrigable

Yes, it is true, the webwanker made an error. Take note as this is not likely to happen again. Next run, the Australia Day Weekend run, will be held at Handjob and Maggie's place:

1 Crosby street, Turners bch.
(not at Thrust, Cameltoe and GoneAgain's place in the same hood)

See you there at the usual time of 630pm on 25 January, don't be late and dress in gold and green!

Port Sorell with K&R

A good dozen or more motorbikes showed up at the Port Sorell caravan park to join the bike-deprived lot for a Hash run/walk set by Knickers and Ratchet. Feels-on-Wheels showed up on his MadMax inspired creation, ferrying Tinsel (who came on the back apparently). Soff made it in time and none of the Harleys broke down either. Two virgins arrived and were promptly named UtesRus (derived from Utes'R Us as he came on a Harley) and DoggyStyle for some uneducated reason related to him saying 'Bugger it' once too often...

The tide was very low, indicating why Poxy loves kayaking here; in case he gets tired he can walk home knowing it is sandy and probably only knee deep.

These horny harriettes all had to go...

Next run is the Australia Day run at 66 Turners Beach Road; Thrust's abode. We all wonder if she will grace us with her presence. Practise Advance Australia Fair and dress in green and gold.

Australians hang your heads in shame
Don't think we're really free
With barren soil
and wars for oil
our mindset - apathy...
Where once abounded nature's gifts
Of beauty rich and fare
Our history shows the deadly blows
we've wreaked at Earth's despair
With shameful hearts let us begin
Australia's slow repair.

Beneath our blurry Southern Cross,
we stole and raped the land,
To call it "Commonwealth of ours',
Polluted at our hands,
For those who come across the sea
detention cells to share
Then we have the hide to sing
"Advance Australia fair'.
With shameful hearts let us begin
Australia's slow repair.

Debris everwhere!

It is worthy of a down-down to see a hasher in the paper, but to find him randomly pinned up at your workplace is really too much! Onya Debris for being a hero somewhere!

Dont forget tonight's run is the Motorcycle R*n set by Knickers and Ratchet @ Port Sorell— meeting at the Rotunda on Meredith Street/East Esplanade, NOT at the camp-site. Motorbikes leaving 6pm from our 5 star Oz Rock Inn restaurant.

Motorbike Assault on Port Sorell

The water fight at the Buttons campsite in Ulverstone made the tourist realise that next year they must come better prepared. Last Monday's exercise showed the civilians to be ill equipped and poorly prepared and clearly no match for our Hashers, especially not with our Flasher and Dint with their secret weapons. Even the surf club was not a safe place for harbouring women and children as we ran past showering them with water drops/buckets.

Now, next Monday's run is the Motorcycle R*n set by Knickers and Ratchet @ Port Sorell— meeting at the Rotunda on Meredith Street/East Esplanade, NOT at the camp-site. Motorbikes leaving 6pm from our 5 star Oz Rock Inn restaurant.

War of Waters at the Stone

That's right all you loyal hashers, it is time to stand your ground. We need to recapture the happy campers in Ulverstone! Synchronise watches and meet for the Annual Water Pistol R*n @ Oz Rock Inn on Monday January 11th!

And now that I have your attention let me promote the following week's run, on January 18. It is once again time for the famed Motorcycle R*n set by Knickers and Ratchet @ Port Sorell— meeting e at the Rotunda on Meredith Street/East Esplanande, NOT at the campsite. Motorbikes leaving from random places around 6pm, one of the random spots is likely to be our HQ, the alleged 5 star Oz Rock Inn restaurant.

Guarding the Lizard

A whole page of writing taped to a post was all it took to get the pack away more or less on time, as they are speed-readers and there were no pictures. A walkers, r*nners and procrastinators trail was generously offered by Hare Guardsvan.

The trails circled the lizard, but the walkers found the HHH before they reached it. Pioneer accidentally followed the procrastinators trail and was later romantically rescued by Knight Sir Gallahad the Bastard.
Dint downed for a one-year old competitive injury and drank like he deserved it. Mabel delivered a very tidy lippery, and Guardy provided best gourmet sausages and caramelised onions served with bone-handled cutlery - a terribly classy outdoors in the quarry On On!
Winner of this week's most prized raffle collectible, Hand Job. Other less fortunate winners merely took home chocolates and bottles of port.
Next week's r*n is the annual Wet T-Shirt Water Pistol R*n from the Oz Rock Inn, Beach Road Ulverstone.
Bring: Weapons of Mass Delugion,
Harriettes - skimpy white T-shirts (no bra),
Hashers - thin white Calvin Kleins, no shirt. Oh, and a change of clothes.
